Iran’s Oskou wins gold at 2026 Zagreb Open

TEHRAN – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Ali Oskou won a gold medal at the Zagreb Open Saturday night.

He defeated Hungarian wrestler Zoltan Levai 9-1 in the final bout of 77kg.

Robert Fritsch from Hungary and Abdullo Aliev of Uzbekistan won two bronze medals in the weight class.

The 2026 Zagreb Open kicked off on Feb. 4 and will run until Feb. 8 at the Arena Zagreb in Croatia.
